Rajasthan Royals batter Yashasvi Jaiswal didn't have a great outing with the bat during the game against Gujarat Titans. The game between the two teams in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 is taking place at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.

After Rajasthan Royals conceded a massive total of 217 runs on the board, it was expected that young opener Yashasvi Jaiswal would take them off to a flying start. But that wasn't the case, as he was back in the hut in the second over only, putting the team under pressure.

On the second ball of the second over, Arshad Khan bowled a full ball outside off stump, to which Yashasvi Jaiswal leaned forward and looked to square drive. He sliced it straight to deep backward point, where Rashid Khan took an easy catch to send the batter packing.

Yashasvi Jaiswal tried to use the away swing but didn't get it where he wanted and, hence, was disappointed with the way he got out. He literally dragged himself out of the park as Gujarat Titans got the early breakthrough that they wanted.

What stole the limelight was the reaction of Yashasvi Jaiswal's rumoured girlfriend Maddie Hamilton. She was extremely disappointed as he kept her head down with her hands on it as the batter got out after scoring just 6 runs off 7 balls.

Earlier, Gujarat Titans came up with a brilliant effort with the bat as they posted a massive total of 217 runs on the board. The hero of the innings was Sai Sudharsan as he played a knock of 82 runs off 53 balls, slamming 8 fours and 3 sixes during his stay at the crease.

Sai Sudharsan talked about his innings, saying that his team understood that the wicket was good and they wanted to maximise it. He also talked about his consistency, saying that he is reacting to a situation. He said:

"The surface was swinging a bit at the start but the wicket was good to bat on. He (Jofra) started well but we consolidated after. We understood the wicket was really good so we wanted to push a bit more. The way we were going, we felt we could get 15 more but this is still a great score. I feel dew won’t come on today.

"As a team, we try to keep wickets in hand and go hard in the last five overs. I’m not trying to be consistent in any way, just reacting to the situation and doing the best out of it. Slower ones and a change of pace will hold on the wicket, so I feel we have a good score."
