After participating in the ODI series, West Indies and Pakistan will take on each other in the 2-match Test series, starting from 12th August 2021.
Both teams will play their first Test series under the second edition of the World Test Championship. West Indies will be playing under favorable conditions, however, it won’t be easy for the Pakistan Test team, who have won their last two Test assignments.
Pakistan secured a 2-0 win against Zimbabwe in their last Test assignment. West Indies, on the other hand, lost their last Test series at home 2-0 against South Africa.
Babar Azam will be leading Pakistan’s Test team, while Kraigg Brathwaite will be in charge of the West Indies side. It will be his third Test series as captain.
