“What a remarkable fightback” - Virender Sehwag hails efforts of Mohammed Siraj and Kuldeep Yadav

Former Indian cricketer Virender Sehwag lauded the efforts of Indian bowlers on the ongoing Day 3 of the third Test against England. He also expressed his delight in seeing the fightback by the hosts in the match.
India bowlers produced a magnificent effort on Day 3 of the ongoing third Test in Rajkot. After the dominance by England on Day 2 of the game, it was expected that it would be a long day for Rohit Sharma & Co as the visitors had 8 wickets in hand coming into Day 3.
Also, with Ravichandran Ashwin not being there due to a family medical emergency, not many gave India a chance to make a comeback. But they produced a magnificent bowling effort and rattled the England batting lineup to get their team in a strong position.
Jasprit Bumrah drew the first blood for India as he removed Joe Root in the first hour and then Kuldeep Yadav backed him brilliantly. The leg-spinner sent Jonny Bairstow packing for a duck and then removed well-set Ben Duckett for 151 runs to jolt England further.
The start of the session changed the fortunes of India. Ravindra Jadeja removed Ben Stokes (41) and then it was all about Mohammed Siraj. The fast bowler put in hard yards and bowled impeccable lines and lengths that made England???s batters look clueless.
Mohammed Siraj picked four wickets in no time and was the wrecker in chief behind the English collapse. From 224/2, the visitors got bundled out for 319 runs. It was a remarkable performance from the Indian bowlers as they helped the team take the lead of 126 runs.
As India rattled out English innings for 319 innings, Virender Sehwag was in awe of the bowling performances. He pointed out how with 10 players they staged the comeback. Taking to his Twitter account, he explained:

The onus will now be on the Indian batters to set a big lead and take England out of the game. They will be one batter short and skipper Rohit Sharma would be aware of that. He slammed a ton in the first innings and would want to make an impact in the second innings.

Virender Sehwag recently during an interview with Sports Tak talked about the absence of Virat Kohli from the ongoing Test series against England. He said that the entire country is missing the batter and he is hopeful that the batter will make a comeback soon.
???The whole country is missing him (Virat). I hope wherever he is, he and his family are happy. Hopefully, he will return to the cricket field soon. Virat is the greatest cricketer,??? Virender Sehwag said.
Virat Kohli made himself unavailable for the first two Tests due to personal reasons. It was then expected that the batter would return for the last three games. However, it wasn???t the case as he applied for leave for the last three matches.
