"What a shame": Pakistan brutally roasted after facing humiliating 80-run loss to Zimbabwe in 1st ODI

Fans on Twitter reacted after the Pakistan National Cricket Team suffered a shambolic loss to the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team in the first ODI. The match between the two teams took place at the Queens Park Club in Bulawayo on Sunday (24th November).

Pakistan National Cricket Team were at the receiving end of the thumping 80-run loss at the hands of the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team. It was a poor effort with the bat and ball for the team as they went on to concede a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series.

Faisal Akram was the pick of the bowlers as he bagged three wickets and gave away just 24 runs in the 8 overs that he bowled. Along with him, vice-captain Agha Salman Ali also made a valuable contribution with the ball as he bagged three wickets as well and troubled the batters with his spin.

Along with the duo, Aamer Jamal, Mohammad Hasnain, and Haris Rauf also bagged wickets each. Based on their vital effort with the ball, the Pakistan National Cricket Team bundled out the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team for a total of just 205 runs with almost 10 overs to spare in the innings.

Richard Ngarva was the top run-getter with the bat as he played an innings of 48 runs off 52 balls, slamming 5 fours and 1 six. Along with him, Sikandar Raza (39), Sean Williams (23), Brian Bennett (20), and Tadiwanashe Marumani (29) made valuable contributions as they went past 200 runs on the board.

Sikander Raza and Sean Williams also picked two wickets each as they left the Pakistan National Cricket Team tottering at 60/6. Rain then played the spoilsport, and the game wasn't played further, but as the DLS, the Zimbabwe National Cricket Team was awarded the 80-run win.
