Naushad Khan reveals how he dealt with a scammer using his identity to fraud youngsters

During an exclusive chat with Sports Tak, Naushad Khan told how he dealt with the scammer who was taking his name to fraud the youngsters. The fraud reportedly used Naushad's identity to take money from the youngsters, assuring them they would be net bowlers in the IPL.

During the chat, Naushad Khan revealed that he asked the scammer to stop such illegal things otherwise legal action would be taken.

“I called him by saying I am XYZ and when he offered me the same, I said I am Naushad, why are you doing these things? I mean why you are playing with the life of young kids and why you are defaming me? Then he got frightened and I told him that I would file a complaint against you," said Naushad.

"After that, he responded that don't complain about me. And so on and so forth. I will return everyone's money and I will remove my name from Facebook too. He removed it,” he added.

Naushad Khan's appeal to the youngsters regarding the fraud

A few months back, Naushad had let out an appeal through a video where he mentioned the fraud where the scammer was trying to take money from the youngsters by taking his name, ensuring that they would become a net bowler in the IPL or any state team. Through his video, Naushad asked the youngsters to trust their hard work rather than such scammers.

“Good morning, friends. Once again, I have come in front of you because my name (Naushad Khan) is being used by many people to create fake IDs on Facebook and Instagram. They are asking for money from kids, ensuring that they’ll become a net bowler in the IPL, get selected in the academy, or be on a state team. I urge you to not get involved in this and trust your hard work. I am not currently connected with any IPL team at this time. I am not going to coach right now. So, thank you very much for not getting involved in this,” Sarfaraz Khan’s father said in the video.

Meanwhile, Sarfaraz Khan is currently preparing for the home Test series against Bangladesh, which will be held in September. The talented right-hander made his Test debut in the home series against England earlier this year. In five innings, he scored 200 runs at an average of 50 and a strike rate of 79.36.
