As the BlackCaps prepare to play West Indies in a white-ball series, Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, claimed that his team is progressing in its style of play.

Beginning on August 11, New Zealand and West Indies will play three T20Is and three ODIs as part of a jam-packed schedule. The games will take place in Kingston and Bridgetown over roughly 11 days.

Williamson, who was benched for the series against the Netherlands, Scotland, and Ireland, is back to captain New Zealand. The tour is a component of the ICC’s next white-ball season, with points needed to qualify for the ODI World Cup in India in 2023 on the line.

Williamson remarked about the West Indies: “One of the best teams in the world, West Indies is consistent. Consequently, it is a terrific opportunity for us to play against them in their backyard.”

Kane Williamson, the captain of New Zealand, claimed that his team is progressing in its style of play.

“Coming to the West Indies is wonderful. The guys are all enthusiastic, “Williamson remarked in a BlackCaps video that was posted online. “Playing cricket there against a dynamic team is wonderful. We are developing as a team, getting better, and getting better at the kind of play that matters to us.”
