West Indies and South Africa go head to head in the WI vs SA second T20I on May 26, Sunday from 12.30 am IST. The Windies won the first game and are leading the three-match series.

West Indies courtesy of skipper Brancon Kings's 79 went onto score 175/8. Their bowlers also did a good job of bowling out South Africa for just 147 and winning the match by 18 runs. Matthew Forde and Gudakesh Motie took three wickets each with the ball not allowing the Proteas batters to get away with the soring.

The visitors are now under pressure to win both the next two games. South Africa are placed fourth in the ICC T20I rankings while West Indies is sixth. Being the hosts of the World Cup and playing in known conditions, Widnies will back themselves to lift the title for the third time.

Several batters from both teams were dismissed for ducks and single-digit scores. This is an important series for both teams ahead of the T20 World Cup. West Indies being the co-hosts of the T20 World Cup are getting a good hit out ahead of the mega event.

A few senior players from both teams are missing from the series as well. Andre Russell and Rovman Powell are missing for the West Indies. The likes of Kagiso Rabada, David Miller, and Keshav Maharaj are missing for West Indies.

South Africa did not play their best cricket with either bat or ball. It was an opportunity for the inexperienced players to step up for the side but they failed to do so. Skipper Rassie Van der Dussen will have a job on his hands in the next game.
