"Worst Decision": Twitter Reacts As SRH Release Harry Brook Ahead Of IPL 2024 Auction

Fans on X reacted after Sunrisers Hyderabad released Harry Brook ahead of the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 auction. The England batter was acquired by the team last year for the whopping amount of INR 13.25 crore. 

Harry Brook couldn’t live up to the expectations as he failed drastically in the tournament. The batter couldn’t get going at all and failed in almost every game. He didn’t have the kind of impact the franchise would’ve wanted from him and this potentially was the reason behind the franchise releasing him. 

Harry Brook slammed one century in the tournament and other than that he couldn’t get going at all. The batter scored just 190 runs, with an average of 21.11. With the kind of reputation he had, it’s fair to say that it was a bizarre season for him. 

Harry Brook ahead of the IPL 2023 was in magnificent touch for England and it was expected that he would set the stage on fire. The batter was also trolled a lot for his failures and with the kind of season he had, it’s fair to say that him getting released by Sunrisers Hyderabad was on the cards. 

Apart from Harry Brook, Sunrisers Hyderabad has released Samarath Vyas, Kartik Tyagi, Vikranth Sharma, Akeal Hossain, and Adil Rashid. 

With the kind of player Harry Brook is, it’s fair to say that he will fetch a big amount of money in the IPL 2024 auction. There won’t be a surprise if he receives more than what he received last year. The right-hander might even get purchased by SRH for less amount of money.
