Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) considering replacing Shreyanka Patil, Sneh Rana emerges as the frontrunner
The reports in News 18 also suggested that the Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) franchise is considering replacing Shreyanka. All-rounder Sneh Rana has emerged as the frontrunner to join the defending champions as the replacement player for the rest of the season.
Sneha Rana went unsold in the WPL auction last year. She was part of Gujarat Giants in 2024 but the franchise didn't retain her. However, the all-rounder was spotted training with the Royal Challengers Bengaluru ahead of their opening game of the tournament.
This will be a massive opportunity for Sneh Rana to make a big impact and prove her worth. The franchise is expected to make an official announcement soon.
Coming to the first game, RCB didn't have a great outing with the ball as they ended up conceding 200 runs, especially after reducing Gujarat Giants to 85/3. They are fighting hard with the bat as the match heads towards an exciting finish.
