WPL Auction 2024: List Of All Players Who Got Sold In The WPL Auction

The Women Premier League (WPL) 2024 auction took place on Saturday (9th December). All five teams were engaged in high-intensity bidding as they tried to provide the perfect balance to their team heading into the tournament, set to be played in February.
A total of 165 players went under the hammer and a total of 30 players were sold in the WPL auction out of which 9 were overseas. There were a few unfortunate players as well as teams that didn’t bid for them. Annabel Sutherland was the joint-highest-paid player in this auction as she was brought by Delhi Capitals Women for INR 2 crore.
The highest uncapped player in the auction was Indian batter Kashvee Gautam, who was brought by Gujarat Giants for INR 2 crore. Another Indian uncapped Vrinda Dinesh bagged a huge amount. She was acquired by UP Warriorz for INR 1.3 crore.
Few of the big names including Punam Raut were left unsold. All five teams filled their 18 slots and it depicts that the second edition of the Women’s Premier League will be a cracker to watch.
