Former England captain Nasser Hussain has reckoned that the New Zealand pacer Kyle Jamieson has had a great impact on international cricket so far and his numbers have been staggering. Jamieson picked up his fifth five-wicket haul in the ongoing World Test Championship final 2021 in the first innings and he accounted for some big wickets including the likes of Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
Jamieson has played only eight Tests so far and he has become a huge asset to the New Zealand skipper with his strict lines and lengths. He has been very economical too and so far he has been picking up his test wickets at an average of near 14 which is outstanding for a fast bowler.

Nasser Hussain Credits Kyle Jamieson For Learning Quickly
Nasser Hussain appreciated Jamieson for his consistency in international cricket and lauded his efforts so far to have such a huge impact. He was impressed by the way Jamieson quickly adapted to the English conditions and learned to bowl fuller. He also noted the angles used by Jamieson to keep the batsmen guessing and credited him for learning quickly to bowl those fuller lengths
“His (Kyle Jamieson) impact on International cricket and his consistency is huge. He has played eight test matches and has already got five fifers. To have such an immediate impact is huge.
“Jamieson came here, and he learned to bowl fuller. The way he has changed his angles during the match, it seems he is a quick learner,” Nasser Hussain was quoted as saying.

Nasser Hussain Backs Jamieson To Be A Superstar In Making
Nasser Hussain hailed the tall pacer Jamieson for a high-class performance in the ultimate World Test Championship final and his efforts certainly could certainly boost the chance of New Zealand winning their first ICC Trophy. Hussain also has predicted to become a superstar in the future as the 26-year-old has played very few international games so far.
“To come to this massive match, the ultimate Test as a novice and putting such a performance. He is going to be a superstar in the future,” Nasser Hussain added.

Kyle Jamieson is a handy batsman down the order and he will come into the fray once wickets start falling for New Zealand.
