Yashasvi Jaiswal takes bold step after constant ODI and T20I snubs

Indian left-handed opening batsman Yashasvi Jaiswal has reportedly informed the Mumbai Cricket Association of his availability for the next Ranji Trophy match against Rajasthan. He makes the much-awaited return ahead of the South Africa Test series.
The Mumbai Cricket Association has already played two games in the first two rounds of the Ranji Trophy. The first game marked a dominating show from the Mumbai batters and then from the bowlers as well, as they started off their campaign with a win against Jammu & Kashmir.
The second game of this year's Ranji Trophy marked the Mumbai team taking on Chhattisgarh, as Ajinkya Rahane led the Mumbai batters with a stunning 159-run innings. Shams Mulani picked 9 wickets in the first games and scored the highest for Mumbai with 91 and 41 runs across the two innings.

The left-handed batter has played for India in the longest format of the game. Yashasvi Jaiswal has starred for Mumbai in the Ranji Trophy since his debut. The Indian opener last played for India in the home series against the West Indies.
Coming back from the Australia tour, since he has not been picked in the T20I squad, Yashasvi Jaiswal has reportedly informed the Mumbai Cricket Association of his return to the Mumbai side for the next Ranji Trophy game against Rajasthan.

Jaiswal to play Ranji Trophy for Mumbai
He will likely use his next game against Rajasthan as his warm-up game before India's next match in the upcoming two-match Test series against South Africa in November. He aggregated 219 runs in his last three innings for India and batted at a prolific average of 73.
With roughly 18 more days left around the corner before India begin their home campaign against South Africa, an Indian Express report has confirmed that the youngster might be playing for Mumbai in their Group D fixture against Rajasthan.
He missed the first two games against Jammu & Kashmir and Chhattisgarh in the opening round of the Ranji Trophy. Having played 44 matches in his First-Class career, he has amassed 4301 runs with an average of 55.85.
The batter scored 15 first-class hundreds alongside 16 half-centuries, with the highest individual score of 265.
Yashasvi Jaiswal didn't feature in a single game in the Australia ODIs
Yashasvi Jaiswal traveled to Australia for the three-match ODI series for India. He was handed a spot in the ODI squad; however, he was not named in the playing XI, as the veteran Rohit Sharma and Captain Shubman Gill could not be replaced at the top.
Jaiswal was seen in India's practice sessions behind the nets and was seen in intense conversations with the Indian coaches and the selectors. Despite all, he was neither offered a spot nor will he be doubtful for the South Africa ODIs as well.
