A biopic about former Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh's remarkable life on and off the field has been announced on Tuesday and will be produced by Bhushan Kumar and Ravi Bhagchandka. Yuvraj hopes that his story will inspire millions of people to overcome challenges and pursue their dreams.

Yuvraj's life story is one of the most dramatic in Indian cricket. He battled cancer throughout the 2011 ODI World Cup and won the "Player of the Tournament" award. He made a courageous return to cricket in 2012 following his illness. Singh also hit six sixes in an over in a T20 World Cup match.

The upcoming biopic on Yuvraj will be produced by Bhushan Kumar’s T-Series and co-produced by Ravi Bhagchandka, who worked on "Sachin: A Billion Dreams" and the upcoming film "Sitaare Zameen Par," starring Aamir Khan. The film’s director and cast have not yet been announced by the makers.

Yuvraj Singh Represented The Men In Blue In All Three Formats

Yuvraj Singh is renowned for his powerful and elegant batting style. He also could hit the ball long and clean. He excelled in white-ball formats and was a finisher before legendary wicketkeeper batter MS Dhoni. However, the former left-handed batter's Test career did not meet expectations.

The former batter scored 8,701 runs in 304 ODIs at an average of 37 and a strike rate of 87.67, including 14 centuries and 52 fifties. He scored 362 runs and took 15 wickets during the 2011 World Cup-winning campaign. He earned four Player of the Match awards and was named Player of the Tournament.
