Yuzvendra Chahal's wife Dhanashree Verma breaks silence on facing social media trolls over alleged relationships

Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife Dhanashree Verma opened up about the trolls that she has been facing for a long time on social media. She admitted that all the things have affected her family along with her near and dear ones. 

Dhanashree Verma has become the talk of the town of late for her social media antics. Yuzvendra Chahal’s wife has faced a lot of criticism for the way she has been posting pictures with her male friends on social media accounts. 

Recently a picture of her went viral on the internet. Dhanashree Verma, who was recently part of the dance reality show Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa 11, was seen with choreographer Pratik Utekar. The picture invited a lot of reactions from the fans, who slammed her for posting such pictures despite being the wife of Yuzvendra Chahal. 

Not only this but fans have been slamming her too for her friendly behavior with the Indian cricketers, in particular Shreyas Iyer. Many even lashed out at her for the downfall of Yuzvendra Chahal, who has been struggling to find a place in the Indian team despite being the backbone of the team a few years ago. 

Amid all the trolls and criticism, Dhanashree Verma broke silence on the same. She stated that although such things never affected her but the recent trolls made a huge impact on her family life. Speaking in a video posted on her Instagram account, he stated: 

“How are you feeling about this? It’s that simple to ask and be a human first, than to put forward certain verdicts or opinions. I have never in my life been affected by trolls or memes. This definitely had a lot of maturity or ignoring or laughing it out loud until this very recent troll occurred. 

“The reason it has affected me this time is because it has affected my family and my near and dear ones. Since you all have the freedom on social media platforms to speak your heart out you tend to forget or choose to ignore the sentiments of us and our family.” 

Dhanashree Verma revealed that the recent trolls forced her to take a break from social media. But with her career being dependent on social media, she needed to end the detox. She added: 

“So, this led to the decision of detox from social media and trust me, it was very peaceful. But it is also may we realise that if we make this medium so negative, then all we are doing is spreading hate and disharmony on a large scale. Social media is a major part of my work and I can’t give up, which is why I have gathered courage and come back on Instagram.”

Just requesting you guys to be a little more sensitive – Dhanashree Verma on trolls 

Dhanashree Verma further requested fans to be more sensitive on social media and stressed that being the Woman, it wasn’t fair to troll her. She also urged her fans to spread love. She added: 

“Just requesting you guys to be a little more sensitive and focus on our talents and skills as at the end of the day, we are all here in this medium just to entertain you guys. So, just don’t forget that I am also just a woman, just like your mother, sister, friend, wife and this is not done, and it’s not fair. 

“And I am known as a fighter and I never give up. Here I am and I am not going to give up again. But spread love, be sensitive about a few things and don’t spread hate. I really hope that from here onwards we are all going to focus on the good things and move ahead in life.”
