The legendary India National Cricket Team pacer Zaheer Khan was recently given a task to pick his fast-bowling 'Fab Four' and he included two Indians in his list.

Two Indians in the list of Zaheer Khan were quite predictable as he picked pace spearhead Jasprit Bumrah and premier speedster Mohammed Shami.

The duo have been the main reason behind the success of the India National Cricket Team across formats. Shami is currently out injured, and in his absence, Bumrah has taken responsibility very well to get the job done for his team.

Mohammed Shami was last seen in action during the ICC Men's Cricket World Cup 2023, where he delivered an absolutely legendary performance, picking 24 wickets in 7 matches. Bumrah was also sensational in that tournament, but India couldn't lift the trophy.

However, Jasprit Bumrah then played a vital role in ending India's title drought as he bowled exceptionally well in the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2024 where he picked 15 wickets, won Player of the Tournament award, and helped India win the ICC title after a decade.

Jasprit Bumrah is currently taking part in the two-match home Test series against Bangladesh National Cricket Team while Mohammed Shami is busy with his rehabilitation.

Meanwhile, Zaheer Khan has said that Bumrah and Shami will be the first two bowlers in his Fab Four list while the rest of the two spots will be occupied by two among Kagiso Rabada, Pat Cummins, and Josh Hazlewood.

"India have been performing exceptionally well and have been part of two World Test Championship finals. India have done well consistently in all conditions. So, I would surely pick Jasprit Bumrah and Mohammed Shami in my Fab Four. Apart from them, it would be Kagiso Rabada and Josh Hazlewood. Pat Cummins is also one of the contenders. These are the four or five bowlers who have made an impact in Test cricket consistently," Zaheer Khan told Cricbuzz.

When you talk about Gautam Gambhir, the hunger to win is very evident - Zaheer Khan

Zaheer Khan also spoke about the new India head coach, Gautam Gambhir. He said that Gambhir is always passionate about the game and is hungry to win. According to the legendary pacer, these qualities made him a good player and will make him a good coach as well.

"When you talk about Gautam Gambhir, the hunger to win is very evident and he is very passionate about cricket. These were the same qualities that made him a good cricketer, and he will look at the game in the same way as a coach, too. His playing style and the way he played cricket, you can also see that in his coaching. Yes, you will improve as you spend more time there, but the basic coaching style is very similar to your playing style."

Gautam Gambhir is currently with the India National Cricket Team in Kanpur for the second Test against the Bangladesh National Cricket Team.
