Zimbabwe secured a commanding 80-run victory over Pakistan in the first ODI at Queens Sports Club, Bulawayo, marking their first ODI win against the visitors since 2015.
The hosts posted 205 runs, powered by a crucial 62-run partnership between Sikandar Raza and Richard Ngarava, who fell just short of his maiden fifty with 48 runs.
After setting a modest target, Zimbabwe's bowlers dominated the game. Blessing Muzarabani struck early, removing Abdullah Shafique, while spinners Sean Williams and Sikandar Raza wreaked havoc on Pakistan's batting lineup.
The visitors struggled against the turning pitch, managing only 125 runs before rain arrived after 20 overs.
