10. Bangladesh – 1315 wickets:

Despite acquiring their Test status in November 2010, Bangladesh failed to make an impact in this format of the game.
However, they managed to pick 1315 wickets in Test Cricket to find a spot in this chart. Over the years, they have tried various bowlers in the fast bowling department but unfortunately, no one registered place in the top wicket-takers chart.
Most of the wickets were taken by the spinners, which include the experienced Shakib Al Hasan.
However, of late, they found success with the inclusion of Mustafizur Rahman and other young fast bowlers in the side. They played 119 Tests to pick 1315 wickets.

9. Zimbabwe – 1347 wickets:

Well, isn’t it a bit of surprise to see them ahead of Bangladesh in this chart? But, statistically, Zimbabwe cricket has done brilliant enough to make things fall in place.
Well, they have produced beast bowlers in the name of Henry Olango and Heath Streak, who made life hard for the greatest batsman in the business.
Even now, they have got a brilliant pace attack combined with good spinners to make things happen for Zimbabwe. They picked 1347 wickets in 110 matches.
8. Sri Lanka – 4209 Wickets:

Well, how many of you surprised to see Sri Lanka at eighth position in the chart? They have produced the highest wicket-taker to the game of cricket in the name of Muttiah Muralitharan, who picked 800 Test wickets.
Still, they are at eighth position, which shows the inability of the other bowlers in the lineup for Sri Lanka.
They have produced great batsman to the world cricket but unfortunately, they hardly had success in bowling department apart from the likes of Muralitharan and Herath.
Chaminda Vaas is the other major name to have played for Sri Lanka. In total, Sri Lanka picked 4209 wickets in 293 games.
7. New Zealand – 6083 wickets:

Though they are placed ahead of Sri Lanka and a couple of other cricket nations, New Zealand had failed to make an impact in the longer version of the game.
Though they produced greatest bowlers in the name of Shane Bond, Sir Richard Hadlee, Daniel Vettori, Chris Martins, Tim Southee, Trent Boult, they have failed to be the consistent side in the longer version of the game. They picked 6083 wickets in 446 games.
6. Pakistan – 6404 wickets:

Though Pakistan is known to have produced the greatest fast bowlers of all-time to the game of cricket, they still found a sixth place in the chart.
The likes of Wasim Akram, Waqar Younis and Shoaib Akhtar bamboozled the greatest batting attacks in the world with their fearsome pace and swing in the middle.
However, all they managed to pick was 6404 wickets in 434 matches.
5. South Africa – 6838 wickets:

In total, they have picked 6838 wickets in 442 Test matches.
4. India – 7867 Wickets:

The Indian National Cricket Team has always been known for producing the best batsman to the world cricket.
However, they have also produced the best bowlers in the form of Anil Kumble, Harbhajan Singh and the fast bowlers in the name of Zaheer Khan, Irfan Pathan.
The onus was taken by the modern-day great Ravichandran Ashwin and the fast bowling trio of Mohammed Shami, Jasprit Bumrah and Ishant Sharma at present.
In total, India picked 7867 wickets in 546 matches.
3. West Indies – 8217 Wickets:

1. England – 15763 Wickets:

Ian Botham, Bob Wills, James Anderson, Stuart Broad, Graeme Swann and it is a never-ending list for England, as they always got the best bowlers to deliver goods for the country in this format of the game.
England have played 1030 Test matches since 1877 claiming 15763 Test wickets at an average of 30.15.
In total, 696 cricketers have come together to claim all these scalps which include 689 five-wicket hauls and 108 Ten-wicket hauls.
Mostly, the record would be intact for a long time, as it needs a hell of an effort to even reach close to England’s enormous tally.
