The cricketing world took it to Twitter to heap praises on the India skipper, Virat Kohli, as he slammed yet another century in the third game against the Windies in Pune. However, was Virat’s third consecutive century in the series, and fourth on the trot at home in ODIs.

Moreover, Virat Kohli played an excellent knock at the MCA stadium. He scored 107 in the chase to Windies 283 runs but couldn’t inspire the hosts to win the game. Meanwhile, Windies started off well by removing Rohit Sharma early on, Later, two of the dominant players in the white-ball format, Virat and Shikhar added 79 runs for the second wicket.
After that, it was no one who could stand with Kohli to make it possible to win over the Windies. The wickets start falling from the other end, and Kohli was batting in his merry way. In addition to that, he lost veteran MS Dhoni in the 36th over which became the turning point of the game.
Previously, the 29-year-old achieved the feat of making the fastest 10,000 runs in ODI cricket. Virat Kohli has been in sensational form after being rested from Asia Cup 2018.
Meanwhile, Jasprit Bumrah returned into the side and had provided an excellent performance. Virat Kohli had given the ball to him as and when required. Bumrah picked up four wickets and had rattled the batting order to restrict Windies below 300 runs.
