This lad can do the trick for India if given opportunity. He already got skills to perform under pressure and could be a great addition to the Indian side. With Shikhar Dhawan failing to hit the form, the flamboyant batsman can make things fall in place for the Indian team.

Ruturaj Gaikwad got the knack of scoring runs at a quick rate and already proved his mettle when he represented for India A team. He is one of those youngsters, who is ringing the calling bell of selectors for a long time now. His incredible show also helped him to steal a place in Chennai Super Kings side.

Probably, Abhimanyu Easwaran is one of the most under-rated cricketers in Indian cricket. He has always been among the run-scorers in the domestic cricketers, but the selectors didn’t take much note of him. In fact, he is a regular scorer in all forms of the game but unfortunately, couldn’t break into the Indian team for various reasons.

The Bengal cricketer played 57 matches in List A and scored 2656 runs at an average of 49.18. The youngster would like to deliver the goods and show his mettle to the world if he gets a chance to play the highest level of the game.

Currently, he is in the scheme of things for Test format of the game but the impeccable show of Mayank Agarwal at the top alongside Rohit Sharma would make him wait for his turn.

Mukund started his innings at a very early age and emulated the feats of Sachin Tendulkar by scoring hundreds in both his Ranji Trophy debut and his first Irani trophy game. It fetched him a place in the List A Cricket and continued to be the part of the team for a season over season.

The flamboyant batsman has been very consistent for the team and always knocked runs against top teams in domestic cricket. However, despite all the good knocks, the selectors tried him only in Test format of the game and never ever given him a call-up to play or be part of the ODI team.

In his 83 games, Abhinav Mukund managed to post 4163 runs to his name at an incredible average of 52.06. The best of him came when he smashed a brilliant 147 against Madhya Pradesh. In total, he knocked 24 fifties and 12 centuries.

Mayank Agarwal has been the most consistent run-scorer in the domestic circuit. Although he made his Test debut in Australia, Agarwal has to wait for his debut in the limited-overs cricket. With fresh faces coming into the squad, many expected Agarwal to get a nod considering his conversion rate in List A cricket. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the case.

The youngster reached England as the replacement during the world cup. It certainly means that he is in the scheme of things but the question is when it is going to be? Currently, he is in fine form in red-ball cricket.

Digging out his stats, Mayank Agarwal scored 3869 runs in his 79 appearances in List A Matches. During the course of those scintillating performances, Mayank Agarwal managed to maintain an average of 50.90, which include 13 centuries and 15 half-centuries.
