Aakash Chopra Reveals His Combined India-Pakistan ODI XI Of All-Time

India’s star commentator, Aakash Chopra has revealed his combined India-Pakistan ODI XI of all-time in his recent Instagram revelation. With all the cricketers being in isolation due to the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, it has given them time to interact with their fans through social media.
Former Indian cricketer Aakash Chopra also picked his squad on his social media account wherein he has made some interesting choices and revelations.

Just a few days ago, the Delhi-based Chopra revealed his all-time India-Pakistan combined Test XI in which he picked up seven Indian players and four Pakistani cricketers. Now, Chopra has shown his all-time India-Pakistan combined ODI XI where six players are Pakistanis, and five cricketers are Indians.

Chopra has selected batting master-blaster Sachin Tendulkar and Rohit Sharma for the opening slot. Current Indian skipper Virat Kohli occupies the third position. Pakistan’s World Cup-winning batsmen, Javed Miandad and Inzamam-ul-Haq, come in at No. 4 and 5 respectively. MS Dhoni retains his spot in the squad as the wicketkeeper-batsman like in the Test team.

The ex-India opener picked the former Pakistan World Cup-winning captain, Imran Khan, as the skipper of his side. The legendary India all-rounder Kapil Dev was also included in the squad.
Chopra selected the former dominant Pakistan pacemen, Wasim Akram and Waqar Younis to lead his pace battery. Pakistan veteran Saqlain Mushtaq is the only spinner in Chopra’s all-time India-Pakistan ODI XI. Chopra has also named the former Indian all-rounder Yuvraj Singh as the 12th man of this team.

Cricketing Action Comes To A Halt After COVID-19 Outbreak

Recently, the IPL 2020 was postponed till April 15 due to the coronavirus outbreak. To the disappointment of the cricket fans, the India-South Africa ODI series has also been called off.
Apart from it, the Road Safety World Series has also been suspended. The Pakistan Super League (PSL) suffered the same fate as it was postponed just before the knockouts.
