Facing Jhulan Goswami has never been an easy task for the batters. The Indian legend is not only fast but also extracts good bounce thanks to her action and height. The right-arm pacer was the fastest playing bowler in world women cricket after Cathryn Fitzpatrick retired.

At a good height of 5’11”, Jhulan Goswami can bowl regularly at 120 kph and has caused a lot of troubles for the opposition over the year. And after years of bowling to female cricketers, she now looks keen to test some male cricketers. Jhulan Goswami recently took to Twitter to post a video of her training and challenged former India batsmen Aakash Chopra and Deep Dasgupta to face her.

In the video, she could be seen uprooting the off stump with a stunning delivery.

“Anyone wants to pad-up… @cricketaakash @DeepDasgupta7 and @vikrantgupta73 paji? ?,” wrote Jhulan Goswami.

And Aakash Chopra was quick to react to the tweet. He started by praising Jhulan Goswami before cheekily saying that he won’t face her. He, however, concluded his tweet by stating that it would be fun to face her, tweeting:

“Wow ? I mean…thanks but no thanks. ? On a serious note—let’s make this happen someday. Maza aayega. What say?”

Jhulan Goswami, meanwhile, is the leading wicket-taker in ODIs in women’s cricket. On the other hand, Aakash Chopra played ten Test matches for India from 2003 to 2004, opening the innings with the legendary Virender Sehwag. He scored two half-centuries and was dropped after India were beaten by Australia at home in the 2004-05 season.

He continued to pile up runs in domestic cricket but did not earn another recall. In first-class cricket, he scored over 10,000 runs and 29 centuries over 15 seasons for Delhi, Rajasthan and Himachal Pradesh. In 2010-11 and 2011-12 seasons, he helped Rajasthan win the Ranji Trophy.
