Former India cricketer Aakash Chopra has gained a lot of popularity on social media platforms after donning the commentary hat following his retirement from the game. As the legendary skipper, MS Dhoni completes his 15 years of international cricket today, Chopra revealed what he would have commentated when Dhoni’s six helped India lift the prestigious World Cup after 28 years at the Wankhede Stadium.
Dhoni made his international debut against Bangladesh in 2004. Since then, he has been a prodigy in international cricket spreading his authority with each passing game. In 2007, MS Dhoni led a young Indian team to the inaugural T20 World Cup in South Africa. A couple of series wins in New Zealand, and Australia followed, but the icing on the cake was when India won the 50 overs World Cup after 28 long years.

The Jharkhand-born MS Dhoni smashed a six to guide the Men in Blues to the title against Sri Lanka. On the occasion of completion of Dhoni’s 15 years of international cricket, a fan asked Aakash Chopra what he would have said when Dhoni smacked the six in front of a jam-packed Wankhede crowd. The cricketer-turned commentator revealed his lines along with praising the illustrious cricketer.
