The finalists for the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2020 was decided on Sunday but Aakash Chopra knew about it way back. Delhi Capitals, on Sunday, beat SunRisers Hyderabad by 17 runs to book their place in the final for the very first time.
The Shreyas Iyer-led side will lock horns against defending champions Mumbai Indians in the final on Tuesday (November 10). Mumbai Indians are eyeing a record-extending fifth IPL title while Delhi Capitals are eyeing to lay their hands on the elusive trophy for the very first time.

Batting first, Delhi Capitals posted a big score of 189 for 3 in the allotted 20 overs. Marcus Stoinis, opening the innings for the first time in IPL 2020, and Shikhar Dhawan gave Delhi a solid start by adding 86 runs off 49 balls for the first wicket.
Rashid Khan broke the stand by dismissing Stoinis for 38. Dhawan, on the other hand, went on to score a fifty and returned to the pavilion after scoring 78 off 50 balls. Shimron Hetmyer then provided the finishing touch to the innings by slamming an unbeaten 42 from just 22 balls.

Aakash Chopra’s prediction comes true:
As soon as Delhi Capitals sealed the game against SRH, Aakash Chopra took to Twitter to share one of his old tweets. In his tweet which was posted on October 16, Aakash Chopra had asked for a final between Mumbai and Delhi, writing: “Can we have #MI vs #DelhiCapitals finals already?”
Both Delhi and Mumbai had started their campaigns strongly. At that stage, both Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians had won 6 of their eight games.
Here is the tweet from Aakash Chopra:
