Former Indian opener and commentator Aakash Chopra took a dig at former Pakistan all-rounder Abdul Razzaq for latter’s ‘baby bowler’ comments on pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Razzaq said that Bumrah is a baby bowler and he would have been able to easily dominate him during his playing days. The former Pakistan all-rounder also targeted Indian skipper Virat Kohli and said he won’t put Kohli in the same class as Sachin Tendulkar.

Subsequently, Aakash Chopra stated that growing old is mandatory but growing up is optional in his tweet. Thus, Chopra took a dig at Abdul Razzaq for his peculiar comments. Earlier, Indian all-rounder, Irfan Pathan had also shut down Abdul Razzaq.

Razzaq has come up with absurd comments.

“I have played against great bowlers like Glenn McGrath and Wasim Akram, so Bumrah is a baby bowler in front of me and I could have easily dominated and attacked him,” Razzaq had said in an interview to Cricket Pakistan.

Jasprit Bumrah is one of the best fast bowlers in the world and these are absurd comments from Razzaq. Bumrah is currently recuperating from an injury and he is the number one bowler in the ODI rankings and number fifth in Test rankings.

On the other hand, Razzaq also went on to take a dig at Indian captain, Virat Kohli. However, Razzaq was brutally trolled on Twitter for his immature comments on Jasprit Bumrah and Virat Kohli.

“If Virat Kohli scores, he scores. Yeah, he is a good player for them and is performing consistently, but you cannot place him in the same category as Sachin Tendulkar. He belongs to a different category,” he said about Kohli.

Subsequently, Aakash Chopra gave a solid reply to Abdul Razzaq.

Chopra wrote on his Twitter handle, “Another fine example of the fact that growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional. Well played”.

Here is the tweet:
