Actress Kareena Kapoor To Unveil T20I World Cup Trophies In Melbourne

The Diva of Bollywood Film Industry  Kareena Kapoor set to enter the cricket field for a prestigious event. The Glamorous actress was asked to unveil the trophies, which is to be played for; during the ICC T20I World Cup in 2020. Kareena Kapoor will unveil the trophies of both Men and women on Melbourne.

Every season, the International Cricket Council in association with the respective cricketing board asks a notable person to unveil the trophies for the grand events. This time, they prefered Kareen Kapoor Khan, who is a star in India and a known actress across the world.

I Am Honoured – Kareen Kapoor

Speaking of the same, Kareena Kapoor revealed that she is honoured to be part of the event. Further, she gave her best wishes to all the women, who are playing out there in the middle. And also, she called those ladies as the inspirational figures for the youngsters out there.

Besides that Kareena Kapoor also recalled her father-in-law, Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who is one of the greatest cricketers India has ever produced. Kareena added that she is so excited and honoured to unveil the trophies for the major event.

“I am honoured to be a part of this prestigious evening. I would like to encourage all these women out there who are playing for their respective countries to pursue their dreams. Its truly empowering to see them stand tall on an international platform,” Kareena said.

“They are an inspiration to one and all. My late father-in-law was one of the greatest cricketers who played for the Indian cricket team and it is an honour for me to be unveiling the trophy,” she added.

Well, it is an interesting invitation to the well-known lady of India. Coming to the tournament, it will see a total of 12 teams participating in the super 12 clash to move further and lift the world cup. On the other hand, ICC designed a brilliant plan for the women T20I world cup as well.
