After being left out for the UAE tour, Mohammad Nabi made a noteworthy comeback to the international cricket arena by putting up an impressive performance. He managed to take two wickets for only 12 runs and also played a vital role in ensuring an effortless chase for Afghanistan by scoring 38 not out off 38 balls. Meanwhile, Pakistan pacer Ishsanullah also made a remarkable start to his career by claiming two early wickets, but it wasn’t sufficient to stop Afghanistan’s victory.

In the ongoing series against Afghanistan, Pakistan has fielded a relatively inexperienced side comprising mostly young and upcoming players. As a result of this, their performance in the first match was lacklustre, with the team managing to score a mere 92 runs in 20 overs.

Several players, including Saim Ayub, Tayyab Tahir, Zaman Khan, and Ihsanullah, made their T20 International debuts in this match. Additionally, Imad Wasim, who has returned to the team, was the highest scorer with only 18 runs to his name.
