Coming from the back of a 3-0 win over Bangladesh in the three-match T20 Internationals, Afghanistan skipper, Asghar Stanikzai cautioned India ahead of the One-off Test slated to kick off at the M.Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru from June 14.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan will play their debut Test since earning the Test status back in June last year. However, Asghar Stanikzai is confident that the recent win against Bangladesh has lifted the morale of the players.

Great preparation for the Test match against India – the morale is high,” Stanikzai said after winning the series quoted by IANS.

Meanwhile, Afghanistan has named four spinners in their squad for the much-awaited Test match. The 19-year-old leg-spin sensation has been in sensational form in the recent past.

“Last couple of years we have performed well. We want to achieve it for Afghanistan. You see the batsmen, bowlers are all in good form,” he added.

The star bowler Rashid continued his great run from the Indian Premier League (IPL) to the ongoing Twenty20 International series against Bangladesh.

Ace spinner from war-torn Afghanistan, Rashid bagged 12 wickets in the series to derail Bangladesh from the T20I series.

While Rashid has been on fire, Afghanistan’s offspinners – Mujeeb Ur Rahman and Mohammad Nabi – who played in the IPL too, also delivered the punch in the recently-held series.

Rashid, who bagged the Man of the Series Award is looking forward to playing against India. He also credited his fitness for his stellar show recently.

Full credit to my fitness – if you’re fit, you can deliver in any department; it doesn’t matter whether I’m playing in league cricket or the national team, I just want to enjoy,” Rashid said.
