Ajinkya Rahane And Radhika Blessed With A Baby Girl

India Test vice-captain Ajinkya Rahane, on Saturday, became proud father of a baby girl. Ajinkya Rahane was busy playing in the ongoing first Test between India and South Africa in Visakhapatnam when he received the good news as his wife Radhika gave birth to the baby girl.

Ajinkya Rahane married his childhood friend Radhika in 2014. The two had met first in school and remained friends for quite some time before their parents met and arranged their marriage. Ajinkya Rahane is yet to respond to the news on social media. However, his former India teammate Harbhajan Singh could not wait.

The veteran spinner, who is also a father to a girl, took to Twitter to congratulate the new father, writing:

Unlike Ajinkya Rahane, Radhika did not hesitate in revealing the good news to the fans. Last week, she had taken to Instagram to post a photo of herself with a baby bump with an emotional message.

Talking about the Test in which Ajinkya Rahane is playing, India have taken an upper hand. After piling up a mammoth 502 for 7 (declared), the Virat Kohli-led side bowled out the Proteas for 431. At the time of writing the report, India were 21 for 1 with Mayank Agarwal back in the hut.
