The vice-captain of the Indian National Cricket Team Ajinkya Rahane was blessed with a baby girl when he was involved in a Test match against South Africa. The flamboyant batsman rushed straight into the hospital to meet his newborn baby and his wife Radhika, as soon as he finished the task to perform for the Indian Cricket Team. Now, he shares the picture with his fans.

Ajinkya Rahane blessed with a baby girl:

Ajinkya Rahane married his childhood friend Radhika in 2014. The two had met first in school and remained friends for quite some time before their parents met and arranged their marriage. Now, they gave birth to a cute pie thus extending their family to three.

Rahane was at Vizag for the Test series between India and South Africa. He shared an adorable picture with her and his wife Radhika on social media. Ajinkya Rahane can be seen holding his daughter with Radhika by his side. And also, the adorable post went viral as the Indian Test vice-captain shared the image, captioned “Hello”.

Rahane is the latest Indian cricketer who has become a father to a baby girl. The likes of MS Dhoni, Harbhajan Singh, Suresh Raina, Rohit Sharma, R Ashwin, and Hanuma Vihari are among the few who have a girl child.

Unfortunately, Ajinkya Rahane will not get much time to stay with his family, as the second Test match of the series set to be played on October 10th. However, as the game set to be played near his home, Rahane would leave late to the practice sessions.

After having a sensational run, Rahane scored 15 and 27 not out in the first Test against the Proteas which India won by 203 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match series.
