Amitabh Bachchan Honoured And Privileged After Meeting Indian Cricketers

Amitabh Bachchan’s love for cricket and cricketers is well known and it looks like the Bollywood superstar made the most of attending two parties thrown by cricketers this week. The first one was the wedding reception of India skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma and the second one was the wedding of Krunal Pandya, the Mumbai Indians allrounder and brother of Hardik Pandya.

Time and again, the veteran actor has shown that he loves to remain connected with the game. Whether it was a commentary stint during the 2015 World Cup or his numerous tweets applauding the players or defending them at the time of adversity, Mr. Bachchan is a die-hard cricket fan.

And so how can one expect him to let the chance go when he got the opportunity to catch up with the players during the recent parties. While other pictures of the parties showed that the other celebrities were busy enjoying the occasion, Mr. Bachchan used the occasion to mingle with the Indian cricket stars.

And after attending Pandya’s wedding, Mr Bachchan took to Twitter to express his delight over meeting those who ‘bring so much glory to country and cricket’.

Even after attending Kohli’s reception, the actor had dedicated a tweet to the cricketers, writing: “and meeting up with them that make us all so proud on their efforts on the Cricket pitch “
