Meanwhile, Kohli is currently preparing for the upcoming tour of England. The India skipper’s county stint with Surrey got cancelled because of an injury he sustained during the IPL. The 29-year old will be keen to regain his fitness and lead India from the front again.
India’s last two tours of England were an absolute nightmare. They had lost 4-0 in 2011 and 3-1 in 2014. Kohli too had a forgettable outing in 2014 when he had scored at an average of less than 14. He has come a long way since then and will be keen to do well.
