"Exciting Game For Pregnant Lady": Anushka Sharma On Thrilling Clash Between RCB vs MI

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) and Mumbai Indians (MI) dished out a thrilling Super Over clash in the IPL 2020 at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Monday. RCB clinched their second victory in the IPL 2020 by overcoming the lowly target set by Mumbai Indians in the Super Over.

Asked to bat, RCB put up a total of 201/3 on board with Devdutt Padikkal (54), Aaron Finch (52) and AB de Villiers (55 not out) helping the cause. Mumbai Indians started the chase on a poor note losing their top-order early. However, Ishan Kishan, who came in as a replacement for Saurabh Tiwary, played a brilliant knock and was well supported by Kieron Pollard as the Mumbai franchise equaled the total.

After the match was tied, Mumbai Indians decided to go with Kieron Pollard, Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya in the Super Over. Mumbai Indians managed to score only seven runs in the Super Over with all-rounder Hardik Pandya missing the final delivery. RCB, started their chase with AB de Villiers and Virat Kohli, and got home comfortably with the captain hitting the winning boundary.

Kohli’s wife and bollywood actor Anushka Sharma was over the moon with the result as she posted stories of RCB victory on her Instagram handle and captioned it, “Phew! Too exciting a game for a pregnant lady. What a team this one”.

By the virtue of the victory, RCB have registered the second win of the IPL 2020 and are seated third in the points table. RCB has the record of reaching three finals. RCB entered the final match last time in 2016 but since then they have been at the bottom of the table. Moreover, in 2019, the franchise  finished last with just 5 wins from 14 matches. The team chairman has also said that though the team is learning, not winning titles adds pressure.
