Anushka Sharma Joins Virat Kohli and Team India in England

Anushka Sharma has joined Virat Kohli and team India on their ongoing England tour. In fact, the actress hadn’t traveled with her husband initially. However, she was expected to join the Indian team.

We have noticed the wives of the players join them on a long tour. Meanwhile, it was a similar case when India had toured to South Africa at the beginning of the year.

As India’s tour to England is going to be a big one, Anushka has joined Virat Kohli. Thus, she would be traveling with the Indian team. India’s tour to England will conclude on 11th September. Therefore there are more than two good months for the Indian team in the country.

Meanwhile, India was able to kick-start their England tour on a positive note. The Men in Blue cruised to an eight-wicket win in the first T20I against England. Kuldeep Yadav and KL Rahul were the architects of India’s thumping win.

Kuldeep Yadav delivered his best performance in the shortest format of the game. Consequently, the chinaman spinner took five wickets after giving 24 runs in his four overs quota.

Furthermore, KL Rahul delivered the goods with the bat. The flamboyant right-hander scored an unbeaten 101 off just 54 balls. The Karnataka batsman innings constituted 10 fours and five maximums.

Thus, it was an ideal start for the Indian team on the England tour. Therefore, the Virat Kohli men will like to continue their good form going in the series. The second T20I will be played at Sophia Gardens in Cardiff on 6th July.
