The swashbuckling opening batsman for Afghanistan and for Kabul Zwannan, Hazratullah Zazai smashed a stunning 12-ball fifty that included 6 sixes in an over.
Previously, it came from the willow of Yuvraj Singh, who smashed the very same record against England in the ICC World Cup 2007 in South Africa. After 11 years of time, Zazai achieved the similar feat.

The stylish southpaw quoted it was a surreal moment for him to smash six sixes in an over and to join the legends of the game. He also expressed his happiness for knocking it in front of his idol Chris Gayle, who is the skipper of the opposition.
Further, he went on to say quoting he is very thankful to Almighty for helping him place his name beside the legends in a particular feat. Hazratullah Zazai reached the landmark fifty when his scored 5th consecutive six in the over.
“It was a surreal moment for me to perform in front of my idol [ChrisGayle]. I was just trying to play my natural game and did not in any way think of outshining anyone,” Hazratullah Zazai said in the post-match presentation.
“It is a proud moment for me. It is a very enjoyable moment for me that my name is now linked to so many big names of the game, who are real legends of the game. I am thankful to Almighty Allah for helping me score the 12-ball fifty,” he furtherly added to his lines.
However, it has been the great moment for the youngster to bag a scintillating record in his kitty. Meanwhile, it is interesting to see whether any IPL teams would make their plans cut out for the Afghanistan batting sensation.
