Out-of-favour India fast-bowler Ashok Dinda has landed in hot waters once again, this time for abusing Bengal’s bowling coach. Consequently, the Bengal pace spearhead has been dropped from the Ranji Trophy squad for abusing Ranadeb Bose. According to reports, Ashok Dinda and Bose were not on good terms.
And in the latest turn of events, Ashok Dinda lost his cool and ended up abusing Bose in front of other Bengal players. Bose lodged a complaint with Cricket Association of Bengal, which asked Dinda to apologise to the coach. However, Ashok Dinda flouted the orders and was subsequently dropped from the Ranji Trophy squad.
This is not the first time that Ashok Dinda has been dropped from the Bengal squad in the ongoing season. He was kept out of the squad for the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy too, following which he did not turn up for the training sessions. There were reports that he is also considering to join another team as a professional.
