Dismissing a big batsman is always a dream come true for any bowler. Hong Kong’s off-spinner Ehsan Khan says that he plans to write a book and Dhoni is going to be the main chapter in it. Ehsan was able to dismiss MS Dhoni for nought in the recently concluded Asia Cup. The off-spinner was over the cloud nine after taking out the big fish. Ehsan revealed that he always wanted to dismiss batsmen like Sachin Tendulkar and MS Dhoni.

The Hong Kong spinner was not able to get the better off Sachin Tendulkar. However, he was able to get the wicket of MS Dhoni. In fact, the 33-year old spinner was able to scalp another big wicket of Indian captain Rohit Sharma.

Thus, India had to sweat hard for their 26-run win as Hong Kong gave a run for their money to the Men in Blue.

“In my dreams, I would often think of dismissing Sachin Tendulkar or MS Dhoni,” he told the Indian Express. “I couldn’t take the wicket of Sachin, but I managed to bag the wicket of Dhoni. This is why I bent down and paid respect (to the pitch).

“If Sachin is a god, then Dhoni is the ‘king’ of cricket. I have plans to write a book on my career and when I do, Dhoni will be the main chapter. I shall read it to my grandson because life is like a fairytale now.”

In fact, Ehsan Khan also revealed his strategy of getting the wicket of MS Dhoni. The off-spinner said he tried to use the side-arm action with straight seam position.

“I tried to use the side-arm action, with a straight-ish seam,” he said. “The Kookaburra ball moves just a bit in the air, it floats through the air and gets the drift. One year of hard work paid off at that moment.”

It was a big moment for Ehsan Khan to take the wicket of MS Dhoni. Meanwhile, Ehsan Khan had also scalped two wickets against Pakistan in the first match.
