The clash between India and Bangladesh is the talk of the town. Meanwhile, the ousted team from Asia Cup 2018, Pakistan’s skipper and the head coach put their money on India to win the finale in Dubai. Sarfraz Ahmed and Mickey Arthur have backed the Indian team despite quoting the pressure always plays a key role during the summit clash.

While Mickey Arthur is confident of India being the strong contenders, Sarfraz Ahmed feels the game can go either way, especially in the must-win encounter. However, he termed India as the clear favourites against Bangladesh.

If selectors decide, I will not be the captain – Sarfraz Ahmed

Meanwhile, Sarfraz Ahmed looked pretty serious after Pakistan got knocked out of Asia Cup 2018 against Bangladesh. On the other hand, the head coach, Mickey Arthur was in his ever-cool state of mind.

When asked about the captaincy duties, Sarfraz quoted the board, and the selectors will take the decision, and as of now, he is happy to do anything that helps the team by obeying the higher officials.

”Anything can happen in the final, both teams start on the equal footing, Sarfraz Ahmed Said. “The captain gets appointed by the Board and the selectors. You are free to make that suggestion and, if the selectors and the Board agree, then I will not be the captain,” He expressed.

Meanwhile, Arthur quoted ”Pressure is always there, but India is definite favourites. No two ways there. I’m not worried and I don’t expect the heat to come on me. I know what I am doing. It’s just that we were consistently not good enough in this Asia Cup.”

However, it seems like Asia Cup 2018 loss has affected the team more than expected. Adding to the vows, the overall losses against India is adding fuel to it. However, most probably, Pakistan will stick to Sarfraz Ahmed as their captain.

Meanwhile, Pakistan will play two Tests and three T20Is against Australia with the first Test starting in Dubai on October 7th. However, they didn’t pick senior pacer Mohammad Amir for the Test series.
