Asia Cup 2018- Team India Celebrate the Birthday of Ambati Rayudu

Team Indian middle-order batsman Ambati Rayudu celebrated his 33rd birthday yesterday. Following the completion of the Super 4 match between India and Pakistan, the Indian players had a gala time as they celebrated the birthday of Rayudu like any other birthdays which is being celebrated in the Indian dressing room.
Like most occasions, Rayudu was smeared with cake all over his face. It was done especially by Yuzvendra Chahal who ran and smeared the birthday cake all over his face. He tried to run away but it wasn’t quite possible. This has become more of a ritual In the Indian dressing room of celebrating birthdays in the weirdest of manners.
Rayudu made his comeback in the Indian ODI team for the Asia Cup after a long time. He was initially selected for the limited-overs keg of the tour of England. However, his name was withdrawn later as he failed to pass the yo-yo test.
Amabti Rayudu has played well in the tournament so far
He has played pretty well in the tournament so far. He scored a half-century against Hong Kong to begin with and then chipped in with a few useful knocks in the middle order. It has kept him retain his place in the Playing XI in the Asia Cup so far ahead of the likes of KL Rahul.
It was a great day for India as they thumped Pakistan by 9 wickets in their Super 4 game to ensure a smooth entry to the final of the tournament. Barring the first match against Hong Kong, the Men in Blue has been quite superb in all 3 departments of the game which have resulted in convincing victories in all the matches so far.
After batting first, Pakistan posted a competitive score of 237 riding on a brilliant knock from former skipper Shoaib Malik. The Indian bowlers were upto the mark. The wrist spinners finally came into the act and bagged 4 wickets between them. India was never in any trouble. Both the openers smashed brilliant centuries and shared a 210 runs stand between them. Eventually, India won by the match by 9 wickets.
