The ICC Champions Trophy 2017 winners Pakistan, who was termed as the favourites to win the Asia Cup 2018 got knocked out of the tournament without even entering in the final.
Meanwhile, it worked as the fodder for Netizens to show their funnier side to the world after Bangladesh thumped Pakistan convincingly in Abu Dhabi on Wednesday.
Initially, it was expected Pakistan would get the better off Shakib-less Bangladesh. However, Mortaza led the team with utmost determination and passion for sealing the berth in the finale of Asia Cup 2018 against India.
Bye-Bye Pakistan – Netizens
In an all-important game in Abu Dhabi, Bangladesh had won the toss and asked Pakistan to roll their arms. Accepting the challenge, Pakistan bowlers bowled their heart out to get three wickets for just 12 runs.

However, the experienced, Mushfiqur Rahim once again paired up with Mohammed Mithun to lift the souls in Bangladesh dugout. They both added a fantastic 144-run partnership to bring Bangladesh to a commanding position.
Despite the stage was set, Bangladesh couldn’t quite carry on with the flow thus giving a moderate 240-run chase for Pakistan. In reply, it was the repeat of the first innings, as Bangladesh struck three quick wickets with the new ball.
However, Imam Ul Haq and Shoaib Malik tried their best to balance the ship. Meanwhile, a tremendous catch by Mortaza sent Malik and the team never looked like chasing the total. In the end, it can get tagged as a one-sided affair.

The win for Bangladesh means it is once again the same opponents, who are fighting for the title in Asia Cup 2018. India had beaten Bangladesh in the previous Asia Cup final to lift the coveted trophy.
