The Indian great and also the former skipper, MS Dhoni is facing the criticism for his slow batting, again. Of late, MS Dhoni didn’t fare well enough for the team, as far as his batting is concerned. Meanwhile, a few fans have called MS Dhoni to hang his boots from international cricket.

The last one year of Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s performance bar has struck pretty low which affected the team’s result as well. However, he has been top-notch with his wicketkeeping and doing the mentor role for the team.

Apart from the Indian Premier League, Dhoni never really showed his worth as the batsman to the cricketing world. He also received the flak in England tour and wasn’t up to the mark in the recently-concluded Asia Cup 2018.

MS Dhoni also failed to take his team to the victory ropes against Afghanistan. However, it was the umpire fault there. Further, a lot of hopes has relied on him in the final of the tournament, but once again he disappointed the fans there as well.

However, it seems like BCCI would continue with MSD till the upcoming 2019 World Cup. Apart from batting, Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s presence in other departments of the game is the massive boost for the team.

MS Dhoni made a massive influence in shaping the career of the youngsters, who are delivering the goods. He is also the integral player on the field helping his skipper in dealing out the issues. Considering all those facts, it is unlikely that BCCI would put their money on a new wicketkeeper.
