India thrashed Pakistan by eight wickets in a lop-sided Asia Cup 2018 group A match where Kedar Jadhav bowled remarkably well at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on September 19 (Wednesday).
However, it was an excellent effort from the bowling unit that saw Pakistan for 162 runs within 43.1 overs. Meanwhile, India only took 29 overs to wrap up the game. This was India’s one of the most comprehensive victory regarding bowling. After Hardik Pandya got an injury. It proved to be a blessing in disguise as Jadhav was given the ball.
Moreover, Jadhav was introduced into the attack in the 22nd over of the game, and he only conceded one run in his first over. Pakistan captain Sarfraz Ahmed played five dot balls in that over. After that, he bowled with proper line and lengths and kept a check on the runs.
The Men in Green were frustrated as they were not able to score runs. In his next over, he got rid of Asif Ali, who came in to bat with a bit of intent.
Furthermore, in the first ball of the 29th over, Jadhav bowled out a short and wide delivery, and Ali gets an outside edge, and Mahendra Singh Dhoni took a sharp catch behind the wickets.
So, the fourth over from Jadhav turned out to be a wicket-maiden.
However, he didn’t stop his attack towards the Pakistani batsmen. In his sixth over, the right-arm off-break bowler completely deceived Shadab Khan, who lost his balance while playing a stroke. But as usual, Dhoni took off the bails in a flash.
In addition, he bowled nine overs in the match and had bagged three wickets. However, Jadhav only conceded 23 runs in the innings.
Also, after the masterful display of bowling from Kedar Jadhav against Pakistan in the ongoing Asia Cup 2018, Twitter praises on the part-time bowler.
Pakistan imploding. Jadhav must feel this is festival time….

Forget Chahal and Kuldeep, it's Kedar Jadhav who's doing all the damage. The spinner Malinga is turning it for India. #INDvPAK #AsiaCup2018

Have seen non-Asian teams bat more confidently on rank-turning subcontinent pitches than the Pakistan batsmen have against Kedar Jadhav today.#INDvPAK #AsiaCup2018

I hope team management takes extra care of Kedar Jadhav. There are chances jealous ppl Kuldeep and Chahal may mix jamal ghota in his food.

Kedar Jadhav used to work in a government office before joining cricket. He can do most of his work under the table. #IndvPak
