Sourav Ganguly, the president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has found a way through which both India and Pakistan would participate in the Asia Cup. The Prince of Kolkata has announced Dubai in UAE as the hosts for the next multi-national tournament that enables the arch-rivals to take part.

Initially, Pakistan were the designated hosts for the competition scheduled in September. However, BCCI made it crystal clear that the men in blue wouldn’t visit the neighbouring country due to security concerns. And as a result, the tournament would now be hosted by Dubai. It was only in late 2019 that major cricketing nations resumed touring Pakistan regularly, notably Sri Lanka and Bangladesh the latest entrants.
