On Thursday (17th December), the much-awaited four-match Test series between the hosts Australia and the visitors India will begin. While it will be a day/night pink-ball Test, Adelaide Oval (Adelaide) will host this series opener.

Before the ongoing tour, India previously toured in Australia during 2018/19 summer, where the visitors created history by winning their first-ever Test series in this country (won by the 2-1 margin). While the visitors will try their best to imitate that success, the hosts are desperate to not repeat that disaster moment.

In this ongoing India tour of Australia, we have already experienced two limited-overs series, where the hosts won the three-match ODI series (2-1) and then the visitors won the three-match T20I series (2-1).
