Well, yet again Cheteshwar Pujara rocked the show with his astounding knock at Sydney. His old-fashioned technique yet again yielded him the success to dent Australian plans on Day 1 of the fourth and final Test of the series. Meanwhile, Nathan Lyon passes a cheeky comment to distract Cheteshwar Pujara.

The off-spinner of Australia Nathan Lyon asked Cheteshwar Pujara – Aren’t you bored yet? He queries him after completing his century number 18 in his Test career. Perhaps, Nathan Lyon was indirectly taking a dig at Pujara, who played at 50 strike rate.

Pujara has been in outstanding form in Australia. Last month, he had bailed India out of trouble with a sublime 123 at the Adelaide Oval before another half-century in the second innings ensured India had enough on the board to secure a historic win.

Cheteshwar Pujara scored his third Century of the series:

Now, Cheteshwar Pujara scored his 18th Test century on the first day of the fourth Test between India and Australia. He faced 199 balls and smashed 13 fours over the course of another marathon innings.

He came into the middle after the dismissal of KL Rahul in the third over of the match. He then got stuck in the middle with Mayank Agarwal, who went on to score his second consecutive half-ton of the series. The pair ensured that India doesn’t lose any more wickets in the first session.

Later, Mayank Agarwal lost his wicket while trying to tackle Nathan Lyon. Though Virat Kohli looked like adding a big score with Pujara, he failed to make it so, as he was strangled on the leg side. However, Pujara continued the show.
