Perhaps, Cricket Australia would have never gone through such a low level, which they are experiencing right now. They are even failing to get their squad right, which made the former Australian cricketers express their opinion on the team selection on Twitter. Meanwhile, the Indian skipper Sourav Ganguly feels it is the lowest phase he has seen Cricket Australia going through.
Ganguly quoted that Cricket Australia is in a such a phase where the former Australian cricketers had to given their instructions on the Instagram panel to the respective board. He feels this would be the pretty dull phase for any board.
Earlier, Shane Warne used to express his opinions on the squad on a regular basis. The latest one to join the bandwagon is Steven Waugh, who made a playing XI list for Australia ahead of the final Test of the series in Sydney.
Sourav Ganguly, in his tweet, quoted ”Australian cricket selection at its lowest ever. Greats have to put teams in their Instagram posts to give direction.”

Steve Waugh asked Australia to drop Aaron Finch:
Steve Waugh, in his Instagram post, suggested Marcus Harris and Shaun Marsh open the Innings for Australia at Sydney. He followed it up with Usman Khawaja and Travis Head to bat at number 3 and 4. which makes 4 left-handed batsmen from number 1-4.
Further, he suggested to bring in Marcus Labuscgane back into the playing XI and asked Tim Paine to promote himself up in the batting order. Interestingly, he also named Mitchell Marsh in the playing XI. He asked same bowlers to deliver again.
All in all, it was a pretty decent squad declared by Steve Waugh for the final Test. It would be interesting to see whether Australia would consider leaving Aaron Finch or not.
