Cheteshwar Pujara had a great series in Australia, where he bagged quite a few records. In addition to records, he also collected quite a few high praises from the analysts and the cricket fanatics across the globe. In one of those, Rohit Sharma also found himself time to lavish praises on Cheteshwar Pujara for his stunning knocks.

Rohit Sharma, in his tweet, quoted that Cheteshwar Pujara’s knock often goes unnoticed. Further, he expressed his belief that those three centuries Pujara scored in Australia will remain forever in the cricket history.

Replying to the same, Cheteshwar Pujara thanked Rohit Sharma for his wishes. Moreover, Pujara added that he missed Rohit Sharma in the epic celebrations after the stunning series victory. Meanwhile, he also expressed his excitement to meet the newborn baby of Rohit Sharma.

Digging into the tweets, ”Often his performances go unnoticed but my man Puji nobody will even dare to forget this one from you. 3 match winning hundreds, boom.” To which, Cheteshwar Pujara replied ”Thank you Rohit! Missed you at the celebrations. Can’t wait to meet the little one.”

Cheteshwar Pujara was in outstanding form in Australia. Last month, he had bailed India out of trouble with a sublime 123 at the Adelaide Oval. Before that, he scored another half-century in the second innings, which ensured India had enough on the board to secure a historic win. Later, he knocked a blistering 193 to end on a great note.

Rohit Sharma has also had a decent series under his belt. He knocked an unbeaten 63* in the Melbourne game, which helped India to win the game. The knock also saved Rohit Sharma to retain his place in the Test squad in the future series.

On the work front, now, Cheteshwar Pujara will travel back home to play some first-class cricket followed by county stint. Meanwhile, Rohit Sharma will feature for India in the ODI format of the game in Australia.
