MS Dhoni, a few days back, was at the receiving end of things; having scored 51 off 96 deliveries. And what’s worst? India lost the game. However, on Tuesday, during the second ODI, Dhoni remained unbeaten on 55 and also helped India clinch the victory by six wickets. Well, that’s how time changes. Meanwhile, Dhoni got lauded from all quarters for his finishing touches, and Jasprit Bumrah was one of them. Also, India’s star bowler shared high praise for captain Kohli, who scored 104 runs.

More credit should be given to the India National Cricket Team captain, Virat Kohli for his 39th ODI hundred. Had he not stood there and faced the bowlers as he did, India couldn’t have come this close on winning the game. However, Jasprit Bumrah, in his tweet lauded the duo and said the legends need not have to prove it to anyone.
“Legends don’t need to prove their worth to anyone. Great display of class and temperament by Mahi bhai @msdhoni and @imVkohli Congratulations on the win!#AUSvIND”

Thankfully, India won the game, and the series is levelled at 1-1. The Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on Friday, January 18th, will host the third and final game.
Meanwhile, during the second ODI, Australia batted first after winning the toss. Both the openers, Aaron Finch and Alex Carey, couldn’t do much damage, as India got two wickets inside the first powerplay. Later, a Ravindra Jadeja classic saw Usman Khawaja getting run-out. However, the day belonged to Shaun Marsh, who scored his seventh ODI ton and helped the hosts post 298/9.
During India’s chase, both Rohit and Dhawan couldn’t capitalise on a good start. Virat Kohli then joined the party at the middle and slammed his 39th ODI century; his fifth at the Adelaide Oval. Later, MS Dhoni snubbed his critics, by scoring an unbeaten 55; and helping India win the game by six wickets.
