Australia vs India 2018-19: Sakshi Dhoni Congratulates Indian Team After Historic Win

The former Indian skipper MS Dhoni’s wife Sakshi Singh Dhoni congratulated the Indian team after they clinched the ODI series against Australia. It was a fine tour for the Indian team. The T20I series was tied, then India won their first ever Test series on Australia soil and now won the ODI series even after trailing by 1-0.

Hence, it was a complete collective team effort from the Virat Kohli’s men to tick the right boxes in Australia. To add more happiness to Sakshi Dhoni’s delight, her husband MS Dhoni was the Man of the series in the ODI series.

Dhoni was at his best.

Dhoni wasn’t in the best of forms in the recent past. He scored three consecutive fifties in the ODI series to get back into form and quash every doubt on his place in the ODI side. Dhoni scored 51 runs off 96 balls in the first match, 55 runs from 54 balls in the second and amassed 87 runs from 114 balls in the final game.

Thus, Dhoni scored 193 runs in the series and batted at the top of his game. In fact, he remained unbeaten in the last two matches to take India over the line and finish off the game for the Men in Blue. Furthermore, he was the prey of poor umpiring in the first ODI, which India lost by 34 runs.

Dhoni was at his best and his return to form is one of the biggest positives for the Indian team ahead of the World Cup. Moreover, Dhoni was able to rotate the strike with more aplomb.
