Well, finally, Indian National Cricket Team had made a successful away tour after a long time. Virat Kohli-led boys delivered the things in a grand fashion to checkmate Australians in the longer version of the game. Meanwhile, the Australian skipper, Tim Paine was in awe of Indian Cricket Team for their exceptional work in sealing the series in Australia.

Tim Paine congratulated the head coach Ravi Shastri and the captain Virat Kohli for their astounding work in sealing the series. He also lauded his boys for trying their best in tackling the tough Indian attack. Further, the Australian skipper quoted that there are also positives to take for the hosts.

Runs are the currency in cricket – Tim Paine

Tim Paine, while voicing out on the positives, quoted that the young boys have got the great chance to play against quality bowling attack in the world. He suggests them to score runs on a regular basis to make themselves stay in the side.

Paine is also happy that the boys outside the national team are also pushing for a place in the side. He sees a lot of positives in the Australian cricket circuit. Paine concluded it by saying that India is the deserving winner of the series.

”Tip our hats to India. We know personally going to India and playing in foreign conditions, how difficult it is. Congratulations to Virat and Ravi. Huge effort to come and win a series overseas. In the last two Tests, no doubt. Had our chances to win in Adelaide. India outplayed us in big moments in that Test. In Perth, we did well. But we were outplayed in these last two Tests. So they deserve to win the series. There are always positives. I know there’s been a lot of gloom and doom of late,” Tim Paine quoted.

”Got some talent in this team. Obviously got some talent who aren’t playing. They were playing against potentially the best pace attack in the world. Hopefully, they’ll learn. The message is to keep scoring runs. That’s the currency in cricket. We’ve got guys outside the group that are putting pressure as well, so that’s a good thing. Our group is under no illusions. Cricket is a funny game. We know it can turn very quickly. I’m fine, thanks (mentally drained?),” he added.

Well, as Tim Paine said, they have got positives to take before going into the next series. Meanwhile, the Indian National Cricket Team is the deserving winner for their brilliant cricket in the last 4 Test games.

Besides victory, India also got a lot of positives to bag in their kitty. The emergence of Jasprit Bumrah and the quality of Cheteshwar Pujara under hard circumstances are the major points for India.
