India’s deputy Rohit Sharma played a poor shot when he decided to take the attack against Marcus Stoinis. Rohit who was going strong played an uncharacteristic shot after scoring 43 runs. In fact, Rohit was going strong and there was no need to play the big shot. The right-hander got a top edge which was nicely taken by Peter Handscomb.

The bowler, Marcus Stoinis as well as the fielder Peter Handscomb were both pumped up after the crucial wicket of Rohit Sharma. The flamboyant right-hander had played a majestic knock of 133 in the first match. However, that knock had gone in vain as India lost by 34 runs.

It was a poor shot from Rohit Sharma.

Thus, the ongoing fixture at Adelaide Oval is a must-win encounter for the Indian side. Australia has posted a par score of 298 runs after electing to bat first. Shaun Marsh scored a brilliant knock of 131 runs as the southpaw batsman timed the ball with perfection.

Marsh was able to hit the ground running and played at the top of his game. He added a quick alliance of 94 runs for the sixth wicket while batting with Glenn Maxwell.

On the other hand, Bhuvneshwar Kumar was the pick of the Indian bowlers. India’s premier fast bowler scalped four wickets and gave 45 runs in his 10 overs quota.

India got a good start when Shikhar Dhawan scored a brisk knock of 32 runs. However, the left-hander also tried to go for the big shot which led to his downfall. Thus, India has their work cut out and Virat Kohli is currently looking good to bat all the way.

Australia is currently leading the three-match series by 1-0 and it is a do or die match for the visitors.
